# Valerois

> Valerois makes Nova (Valerois Studio Nova), an AI workspace for desktop (Windows, macOS beta, Linux) and the web that plans, writes, runs and checks work for you, and researches constant-memory foundation models. Nova has a free plan; local runtimes and your own API keys are always unlimited. The research side is Bifrost CSL, an architecture with no KV cache whose Valkir models run on one consumer GPU. The brand mark is the kanji 嵐 (arashi, storm). Site languages: English (/) and Türkçe (/tr/), every page available in both.

- Oni mode: plan, build in proven steps, verify, then a second model reviews. On Nova Core and Nova Max, and with your own API key on any plan.

## Research
- Architecture: Bifrost CSL (Convolutional Sub-quadratic Linear), proprietary. Dual-scale temporal convolutions (K=16 and K=32 with dilation 2), SiLU gating, SwiGLU feed-forward, LayerScale residuals.
- Inference memory: constant 8.86 MB state for Valkir 16L, independent of sequence length. No KV cache.
- Valkir 16L: 116.8M parameters, trained on 4.74B tokens in about 36 hours on one AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT (16 GB, ROCm 7.2). Zero-shot, greedy: HumanEval AST validity 54.0% (syntactic validity, not pass@1), WinoGrande 51.62%, ARC-Easy 33.08%, HellaSwag 25.79%.
- Vesper: a possible later assistant on top of Valkir; in the future, not released or dated. Valkir 16L (116.8M) is the only released model; Valkir 140M and Valkir 1.5B are planned (design targets).
