Windows says “unknown publisher”
The app is not signed with a publisher certificate yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn you. Choose More info, then Run anyway. The portable file needs no install: put it anywhere and run it.
macOS refuses to open the app (beta)
Unzip and move the app to Applications. It is not signed or notarised yet, so the first double-click is refused: right-click the app and choose Open. If it still says “damaged”, run in Terminal: xattr -cr "/Applications/Valerois Studio Nova.app" and, if needed, sign it locally for free: codesign --force --deep --sign - "/Applications/Valerois Studio Nova.app"
Linux: how do I install?
Debian, Ubuntu, Mint: sudo apt install ./Valerois-Studio-Nova-VERSION-amd64.deb. Any other distribution: unpack the tar.gz and run ./valerois-studio. If it stops with a “sandbox” message, run once: sudo chown root chrome-sandbox && sudo chmod 4755 chrome-sandbox, or start with ./valerois-studio --no-sandbox.
How do I get a refund?
Write to [email protected] and include your order number. The refund policy is on nova.valerois.com/refund.
How do I cancel my plan?
In Nova: Settings, Account, Manage subscription. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Does the website track me?
No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from this site.
